Job summary

PepsiCo in Cleveland, OH is seeking a field service technician responsible for installation, setup, repair and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. You will diagnose problems, decide to repair or replace, and work independently with frequent customer contact.

The role requires lifting up to 45 pounds, driving to locations, and adherence to DOT regulations. CDL may be required in some locations; experience with electrical, plumbing and refrigeration

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience serving customers and communicating effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and refrigeration basics.
• Ability to install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on vending equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling and fountain equipment.
• Unload and reload products as necessary.
• Install equipment by routing lines and connecting supplies; fill and adjust mixtures.
• Schedule service and PM calls to meet customer windows.
• Drive to locations, assess situations and perform required work.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.
• Establish positive relationships with customers during calls.
