Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring a skilled field service technician responsible for installation, setup, repair and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. You will diagnose equipment problems, determine best repair or replacement, and work independently with frequent customer contact.

The role may require lifting up to 45 pounds repeatedly, crouching, bending, and possible moving units weighing 800–1200 pounds. Strong attention to safety and paperwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• 21 years or older if CDL required.
• Valid U.S. CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road-test (if required).
• Adhere to DOT Regulations.
• Senior technician requires refrigeration certification Type I/Type II (if applicable).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English if CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending and cooling equipment.
• Unload and reload with products as necessary.
• Install equipment and connect services; build racks and route lines.
• Prioritize and schedule service calls to meet customer windows.
• Travel to locations, evaluate and perform required work.
