Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending and cooling equipment at customer accounts. You will diagnose issues, determine repairs or replacements, and work independently with frequent customer contact.

Individual duties include loading/unloading, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining service records. Candidates should be able to lift 20–45 lbs repeatedly and move equipment weighing up to 1200 lbs when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• CDL required if applicable (21+).
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status where required.
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road-test (if required).
• Refrigeration certification Type I/Type II (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment at customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine repair vs. replacement.
• Drive to locations and perform service within customer service windows.
• Record paperwork promptly after each call and keep parts inventory.
• Establish good relationships with store contacts during service calls.
