Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled field technician for installation, setup, repair, and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling, and fountain equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment and records on a service schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to service and repair refrigeration/electrical/plumbing components
• Customer-facing experience and communication skills
• Comfort with installing and connecting vending/fountain equipment

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment
• Unload and reload with products as necessary
• Install equipment by wiring and connecting lines; ensure proper connections
• Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet windows
• Drive to locations, assess situations and perform required work
• Document service activities and customer information after each call
• Maintain inventory on service truck and replace worn parts
• Establish positive relationships with customers during service calls
• Transport equipment and ensure safe handling of tools and parts
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance
