Job summary

PepsiCo in the United States is seeking a skilled technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer sites. The role is independent with frequent customer contact and may involve heavy lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 1200 pounds.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, installation, scheduling service calls, and documenting work. Qualifications include a valid CDL with interstate status and refrigeration certification;

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (21+ if CDL required).
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status.
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road-test (if required).
• Adhere to DOT Regulations.
• Senior technician requires refrigeration certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment.
• Unload and reload with products as necessary.
• Install equipment by making holes, routing lines, connecting water/gas and drains.
• Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture.
• Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet windows.
• Drive to location and perform required work (plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry).
• Collect accurate equipment and customer information.
• Remove old parts and replace with new parts.
• Maintain parts inventory on service truck.
• Establish positive relationships with contacts at service calls.
• Submit paperwork after each call and within two hours.
• Transport miscellaneous items (compressors, cardboard, etc.).
• Maintain regular attendance.
