Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled field service technician responsible for installation, setup, repair and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. The role requires diagnosing problems, lifting up to 45 pounds, and frequent customer contact; travel to sites with some heavy equipment may be involved.

The technician will perform preventive maintenance, schedule service calls, document work orders, and ensure DOT and CDL requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road-test
• Senior technician requires refrigeration certification
• Ability to communicate effectively in English if CDL required

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Unload and reload with products as necessary
• Install equipment and connect lines; route hoses and supplies
• Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet service windows
• Drive to location and perform necessary repairs
• Collect accurate equipment and customer information
• Maintain parts inventory on service truck
• Establish positive relationships with contacts at service calls
• Complete paperwork after each call and every two hours
• Maintain regular attendance
