Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) seeks a Field Mechanic Technician to deliver high-quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electronic, and safety services at Crash Champions locations and partner sites. Travel daily in a company vehicle with emphasis on ADAS calibration and OEM-aligned procedures.
The role blends mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics, requiring strong problem-solving, documentation, and customer communication.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience required, including ADAS and electrical work.
- I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
- ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers.
- Travel daily to assigned service locations in company vehicle.
- Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, and electrical diagnostics.
- Perform mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, and air bag installation.
- Conduct engine, drivetrain, cooling, and post collision mechanical inspections per OEM standards.
- Diagnose and replace SRS components per OEM guidelines.
