Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to perform mobile, field-based mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety tasks for Crash Champions locations and partners. You will travel daily in a company vehicle, perform ADAS calibrations when trained, and ensure OEM compliance and thorough documentation.

The role demands 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience, I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days, and ASE scheduling within 90

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive mechanical experience; I-CAR PL3 within 90 days; ASE scheduled within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of light/moderate mechanical repair, ADAS, electrical systems, calibrations.
• Experience with suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, air bag installation.
• Ability to diagnose and repair SRS systems per OEM standards.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment and vehicle health scans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers and partners.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical work.
• Repair suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, air bag installation as needed.
• Document services per OEM guidelines and MCP policies; ensure proper sign-off.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and professionalism.
• Complete repair documentation and final billing prior to leaving site.
• Meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
