Job summary

ATE - Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to provide mobile, field-based mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services to Crash Champions locations and customers. The role blends mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration.

The position requires daily travel in a company vehicle, performing diverse repairs, calibrations, and test drives to verify outcomes, while documenting all steps and maintaining high

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive mechanical experience.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with ADAS systems, diagnostics, programming, and calibrations.
• EV/HEV high voltage certification preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate service to customers.
• Travel daily to assigned locations in company vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Conduct engine, drivetrain, cooling system, and post collision inspections.
• Document repair reports and final billing per MCP guidelines.
• Meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
• Stay current on OEM protocols through required training.
