Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple facilities in the Fort Worth area. You will service mechanical, electrical, and other building systems while ensuring safety and compliance with NFPA 80 standards.

The role emphasizes installation assistance, work-order management, energy management, and routine communication with clients and team members. A valid driver's license and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Must be able to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Inspect and repair fire doors and life-safety systems per NFPA 80.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials; track completion.
• Support energy management to ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, coworkers and supervisors.
• Work under defined procedures with limited discretion.
