Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across medical, laboratory, and commercial facilities in Dallas, Texas. You will join a three-person mobile team supporting 22 sites, coordinating daily routes, and ensuring building systems operate at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include interior/exterior maintenance, plumbing and light electrical work, and managing work orders from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience. Valid Driver’s License required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, markups).
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily routes by reporting to the lead technician.
• Perform interior and exterior building maintenance, including repairs and touch-ups.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems and address leaks.
• Conduct light electrical maintenance, replacing ballasts and upgrading fixtures.
• Execute work orders, estimate time and materials, track progress.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical building equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance tickets and critical service requests.
• Inspect installations for building code and safety compliance.
• Monitor building systems for energy efficiency and performance.
• Assist teammates with large-scale projects.
