Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, and grounds. You will support the engineering and technical services group with preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep systems operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include evaluating work orders, estimating resources, implementing preventive programs, and ensuring compliance with codes and client specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for compliance and operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work tasks.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, and project activities.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders.
