Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Technician in Dallas, TX to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across medical, laboratory, and commercial facilities. You will manage daily routes, service work orders, and ensure building systems operate efficiently.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building tasks, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs+ are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the lead technician, plan daily routes, and operate a company vehicle to reach sites.
• Perform interior and exterior building maintenance, including door repairs and patching, painting, and touch-ups.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including sinks, toilets, drains, and leaks.
• Conduct light electrical maintenance, troubleshooting circuits, replacing ballasts, and lighting upgrades.
• Execute work orders, estimate time/materials, and track progress to completion.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical, electrical, and other building equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance tickets and critical service requests.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Monitor building systems for energy efficiency and performance.
• Assist other technicians on large-scale projects and with overlapping assignments.
• Exchange straightforward information with clients and colleagues; follow procedures with limited discretion.
