Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Dallas is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer (DFW) to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment across multiple buildings. The role supports energy management and ensures compliance with building codes and safety standards.

You will review work orders, estimate time and materials, and deliver outputs under supervision, applying standard procedures and using MS Office tools for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job‑related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lb+.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills to calculate simple figures.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials; manage and track completion.
• Support energy management to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Follow defined procedures and perform tasks under supervision.
