Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple buildings and industrial systems.

You will support installation, modification, and energy management while handling work orders and safety compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or trade school credential, 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladders.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills for simple calculations (percentages, discounts, markups).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage completion.
• Support energy management to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, coworkers, and supervisors to address inquiries or concerns.
• Follow defined procedures to solve routine problems under supervision.
• Deliver output by following established processes under guidance.
