Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds at client sites in Jacksonville, FL. The role supports preventive maintenance programs and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of related experience, a universal CFC certification, and a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead by example are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Shift manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for safe operation.
• Operate company vehicles and coach others; share knowledge across multiple disciplines.
