Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles. The role emphasizes passion for sustainable transportation, with ASE certifications encouraged and reimbursement for certification costs within 6–8 months.

You will repair mechanical and electrical issues, maintain HV/LV knowledge, document activities, and collaborate with the service team and customers. Local travel and remote support for mobile service may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an automotive service technician.
• Experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains.
• Customer-facing with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use MS Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; 21+ if applicable.
• Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis.
• Maintain high knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (Three C's).
• Document customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
• Communicate and collaborate with service team and customers.
• Demonstrate and teach learned technical skills to others.
• Embrace attention to detail and create positive client experiences.
• Support remote work and mobile service team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
