Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles at client locations. A service van and tools are provided.

You will travel within an assigned territory, work independently or with a team, and demonstrate passion for sustainable transportation in a fast-paced environment. The role requires ASE certifications preferred, EPA 609, and a valid driver’s license; Lucid reimburses certification costs and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years automotive service technician experience
• Self-sufficient and organized; works independently and with a team
• Knowledge of HV and LV systems and EV powertrain
• Customer-facing with strong communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification required
• Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training after hire
• Valid driver’s license; 21+ years old with at least 3 years license for younger applicants

Responsibilities

• Serve as Service Advisor; manage parts duties including ordering, returns, inventory
• Interact with clients to deliver high level customer experience
• Document vehicle interactions using the software suite
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems
• Conduct walk-around and write-up to assess client needs
• Document client concerns for diagnosis and repair
• Follow repair order documentation procedures
• Invoice and collect payments
• Handle customer communications and appointment scheduling
• Plan travel time and visit duration for mobile service
• Provide on-site support at Service Center as needed
• Travel within assigned territory and other locations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
