Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to travel to client locations and diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid vehicles in the field. A service van and tools are provided.

This role supports both field work and occasional service center tasks, with the ability to work independently or in a team. Requirements include 2–5 years as an automotive service technician, knowledge of HV/LV and EV powertrains, EPA 609 certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing EV powertrains and HV/LV systems.
• Customer-facing communication skills and ability to document interactions clearly.
• Knowledge of service processes, parts, returns, and inventory management.
• EPA 609 Certification required; ASE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as Service Advisor and perform parts duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management
• Work directly with clients to provide a high level of customer experience
• Document all customer vehicle interactions in the software suite
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems
• Perform walk-around and write-up to assess primary concerns with clients
• Document client concerns for diagnosis and repair
• Follow repair order documentation procedures
• Invoice and collect payment
• Handle scheduling, follow-ups, and customer communications
• Coordinate travel planning for mobile service visits
• Provide support at Service Center as needed
• Travel within assigned territory and to other service locations
• Perform any other duties as assigned
