Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs across locations including Montana sites and customer sites. The role is hands-on, collaborative, and level-agnostic to accommodate diverse experience, with travel to production plants as needed.

Based in Montana, you will diagnose, repair, install, and test Rivian vehicles, manage parts, document work, and stay current with training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; able to drive non-commercial trucks/trailers preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week, including weekends or shifts as needed.
• Experience in automotive repair and EV/hybrid awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect Rivian vehicles in the field or service centers.
• Identify Rivian products and EV framework; follow repair procedures.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes accurately.
• Perform road tests to verify repairs.
