Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across locations. The role is based in Michigan with potential travel to various sites, including production locations, to provide vehicle support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified mechanic in Michigan with categories: front end, suspension, steering, brakes, electrical, HVAC.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and able to use DVOM.
• Able to read and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in-field.
• Identify Rivian product line and EV framework for repairs.
• Follow repair procedures and maintain safety and quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving and inventory.
