Job summary

ManpowerGroup in the Akron/Cleveland area is seeking a Mobile Engineer 2 to join their Facilities Engineering & Operations team. You will maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems across multiple facilities.

Travel will be required to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in building systems, EPA 608 Type II certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the territory.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems with Word/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety and building control systems.
• Travel between facilities to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Conduct preventive maintenance including cleaning, inspection, calibration and component replacement.
• Monitor system performance, record readings, and adjust to maintain optimal function.
• Ensure safety compliance, manage inventory/tools, and coordinate with outside contractors.
