Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, and equipment in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and delivering reliable facility operations.

The engineer will review work orders, plan repairs, and lead preventive programs while adhering to CBRE policies and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Prior shift supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and related systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, maintain tools/inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure building systems meet design specs and environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles during daily work responsibilities.
