Job summary

The role covers repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds care as part of Engineering and Technical Services. You will oversee mechanical, plumbing, life safety, HVAC, and control systems, review work orders, estimate time and materials, and ensure compliance with codes and client environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining mechanical, industrial, plumbing, life safety, and control systems.
• Ability to review work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to keep facilities up to standards.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee repairs and emergencies to maintain equipment uptime.
• Ensure inspections of building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) meet design specs and client environmental requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work tasks and mentor others within the team.
• Lead by example and contribute to CBRE’s RISE values and cross-team collaboration.
