Qualifications

• Successful completion of EMT Basic Course.
• Must obtain EMT license in state of operation within 120 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Responds quickly and efficiently to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Assesses patient conditions to determine nature and extent of injuries or illnesses.
• Provides basic life support and CPR; conducts first aid.
• Stabilizes patients at scene and during transport to facilities.
• Safely transports patients to hospitals or other medical facilities.
• Operates emergency vehicles and drives ambulances safely.
• Communicates with other emergency services and family members.
• Maintains equipment and ensures it is stocked and functional.
• Accurately documents care provided and patient condition.
