Qualifications

• Successful completion of EMT Basic Course.
• EMT license in state of operation within 120 days of hire.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Assesses patients' conditions to determine nature and extent of injuries or illness.
• Provides basic life support and CPR.
• Stabilizes patients at scene and during transport.
• Safely transports patients to hospitals or facilities.
• Operates emergency vehicles and drives ambulances.
• Communicates with other emergency services and families.
• Maintains equipment and stocks supplies.
• Documents patient care and condition.
• Participates in ongoing training and professional development.
