Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to respond to emergencies, assess patients, and provide essential life support. The role includes stabilizing patients, transporting to facilities, and coordinating with related services while maintaining equipment and accurate records.

Minimum requirements include EMT Basic, active BLS, and a valid driver’s license, with the possibility to obtain an EMT license within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• EMT Basic course completed and licensed in state of operation.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Ability to obtain EMT license within 120 days of hire.
• Valid driver license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Assess patient conditions and determine care needs.
• Provide basic life support, CPR, and first aid.
• Stabilize patients and transport to facilities.
• Operate emergency vehicles and ensure safe driving.
• Coordinate with other services and document care provided.
