Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to perform phlebotomy collection, interact with donors, and operate the mobile drive vehicle. You will load supplies, transport staff, and maintain a safe, high‑quality donation experience.

The role requires availability 4:00am–10:00pm, including weekends/holidays, full-time (32–40 hours/week), and completion of phlebotomy training with competitive compensation of $17.36 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant people facing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating the van and transports staff safely.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at mobile site with tech systems.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers excellent donor experience with professional service and responds to inquiries.
• Maintains equipment and prepares units for transport as needed.
• Rebooks donors for future appointments and supports team culture.
