The Blood Connection, Incorporated seeks a friendly donor center associate to welcome and register donors, perform health history assessments, and support a positive donor experience. This entry role offers paid on-the-job training to advance toward phlebotomy within The Blood Connection.

Candidate must provide excellent customer service, flexibility for weekends, and a professional demeanor that reflects the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons and co-workers.
• Ability to work with all levels in a diverse environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assess donor eligibility through medical history and screening results.
• Assist with donor collection and ensure proper handoff to the collections team.
• Maintain storefront appearance, cleanliness, and organization during operating hours.
• Coordinate with donors and management to ensure a smooth donor experience.
• Participate in blood drives and special events as needed.
• Perform receptionist and telephone duties as assigned.
