The Blood Connection, Incorporated is hiring for a donor services associate who welcomes donors, registers them, and collects essential health information. This role supports the donor experience and may advance into phlebotomy with on-the-job training.

You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and provide education while delivering excellent customer service. This position requires flexibility, including weekends, to support donor drives and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Ability to work with all levels in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and guests warmly, opening doors and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assess basic donor eligibility through health history and verification.
• Provide educational materials to donors about the donation process.
• Perform donor health history and basic physical assessment as per SOPs.
• Assist donors during collection and hand off to the collections team.
