The Blood Connection is seeking a friendly donor services associate to welcome donors, register them, and perform donor health history and basic screening at the Asheville Center or on the Mobile Bus.

This on-site role offers weekend availability, paid on-the-job training toward becoming a phlebotomist, and advancement opportunities along with benefits such as PTO, 401(k), health insurance, FSA, disability coverage, EAP, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with donors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and guests with a welcoming, professional demeanor.
• Register donors, collect health history, and complete basic screening.
• Provide education materials and direct donors through the process.
• Support donor flow and assist teams during events and drives.
