Job summary

LiftOne is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair loading dock equipment and doors. The role includes completing preventative maintenance on customer equipment and managing company van operations and parts inventory.

The candidate should hold a high school diploma or GED with welding certification within 30 days, plus welder apprentice level or 3 years welding experience. A valid driver license and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification required soon after hire.
• Welder apprentice level completed or 3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations/instructions in local language(s).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify the general problem based on customer concern and test to locate the failure.
• Complete repairs in a safe, efficient manner and test equipment.
• Drive to and from locations to address on-site needs.
• Make necessary repairs with customer approval and perform basic maintenance.
• Process documentation at job completion; ensure parts and time are recorded and repairs itemized.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Identify and order replacement parts as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
