Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to service fleets at client locations. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and parts replacement while delivering strong customer service. Responsibilities include inventory control, using diagnostic tools, and reporting to the Service Manager.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 9 years' Class 7 & 8 technician experience, and a valid CDL with Medical card. We value safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 9 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must have a current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on trucks and keep records up to date.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned duties daily.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
