Job summary

Cox Fleet in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and various light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, manage parts, and document work using our TRAIT app.

The role requires ASE certification within 18 months, a HS diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, and the ability to work on a company service truck with occasional travel. A strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience; or 5 years relevant experience.
• Own set of hand tools and the ability to obtain ASE T8 within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT background screening and DOT physical; valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 21 years old; valid state driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Physically capable of performing diesel/trailer repairs and operating company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engines, transmissions, and other diesel systems.
• Manage parts inventory and upload repair orders using TRAIT iOS app.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation promptly.
• Communicate with management for repair approvals and PO numbers.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
