Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling systems and perform repairs under supervision of senior techs.

The role requires a HS diploma, ASE certifications, and the ability to work independently with a company-issued service truck and TRAIT app. Benefits include safety gear and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM on trucks in mobile/field environment.
• Basic diagnostics and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling systems and engines.
• OSHA/EPA/DOT safety compliance and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Operate repair orders via iOS device and TRAIT app; document findings and parts used.
