Cox Fleet is expanding its mobile fleet maintenance services nationwide, offering on-site inspections and preventive maintenance for trucks and trailers. The Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician role emphasizes diagnostics, light to heavy repairs, and independent job scheduling in a dynamic field environment.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 PMI certification within 18 months, and DOT-related compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required; 3 years’ related field experience, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and document diagnostics and repairs using company tools and TRAIT app.
