Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field setting for a broad fleet. This role requires diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues and working under supervision to build advanced skills.

Candidates should be ready to travel to on-site service centers or customer locations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM inspections on trucks/trailers.
• Experience with electrical systems and diesel engines.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing heavy/mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose, repair, and adjust truck and trailer systems.
• Manage parts inventory and vehicle documentation on RO via TRAIT app.
