Job summary

Rush Truck Centers seeks an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to service fleets at client locations, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and on-site repairs with company-provided tools. You will work under the Service Manager and participate in after-hours calls as needed.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, 5 years of Class 7/8 experience, and ASE certifications are preferred. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage and inventory tools and parts on the service truck.
