Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain fleets and respond to service calls at customer sites. You will diagnose and repair heavy- and medium-duty trucks on-site, perform preventive maintenance, and manage service inventory.

The role requires 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience, CDL preferred, and ASE certifications are a plus. Competitive pay includes benefits and ongoing training opportunities to grow with us.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by the FMVSS.
• ASE certifications preferred and rewarded.

Mansioni

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned duties daily.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Diagnose and repair using diagnostic equipment and document work.
• Replace components such as injectors, pistons, cylinders, bearings, and transmissions as needed.
• Document and submit work in the mobile service program and company system.
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and future service recommendations.
