Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to service client fleets on site and handle service calls at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy trucks to keep customers on the road.

Qualifications include 5 years as a Class 7-8 technician, CDL preferred but not required, FMVSS medical card, and ASE/brand certifications. Earn $23.00–$50.00 per hour with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair using diagnostic equipment and technical information.
• Read job orders and determine malfunction and plan procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls at client locations.
• Document work performed accurately in the company system.
