Job summary

Rush Truck Centers seeks an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our fleet customers by performing on-site service at client locations. You will handle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and component repairs to keep trucks and equipment on the road.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years as Class 7 & 8 technicians, a high school diploma or GED, and ASE certifications preferred; CDL is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and employee stock

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins ASE certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform on-site service calls and basic truck maintenance at client locations.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and keep tools stocked.
• Diagnose and repair components using diagnostic equipment and service manuals.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and report daily activities.
• Assist in after-hours service calls and maintain safe, compliant operations.
