Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. seeks experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to support customer fleets in Missouri. The role covers on-site service calls, diagnosis, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and equipment, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL is preferred but not required.
• FMVSS medical card as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and ensure it is properly stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine trucks using diagnostic equipment and technical information.
• Document all work accurately in the company system.
• Advise customers on upcoming repairs and services within 3 months.
