Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Memphis, TN. You will perform PMs, DOT inspections, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field environment.

Duties include diagnostics of electrical, braking, cooling, and diesel systems, road testing, and documenting findings. The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a HS diploma/GED with related field experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with related field experience.
• Own a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/regulatory compliance and DOT medical card requirements.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on mobile vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and diesel systems.
• Test, road test, and document RO findings; communicate with team.
• Manage parts inventory and safety checks.
• Maintain company-issued service truck and adhere to safety policies.
