Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Tulsa, OK. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to mid-level repairs in a mobile/field environment, working in a Friday–Monday shift (7 AM–5 PM).

You’ll diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems, document findings, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety rules. The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a HS diploma/GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ASE T8 certification within 18 months is preferred.
• Experience performing DOT inspections and PM on light–heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Licensed DOT driver with valid CDL/driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings in RO using TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory for repairs.
