Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II for on-site field work across a mobile/field environment in the Tulsa, OK area. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostic repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

The role requires 3+ years in related field, ASE certifications, and possession of a tool set. DOT compliance and safety standards are essential, with a Sunday-Wednesday shift pattern.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• DOT-regulated pre-employment screening and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling and engine systems in a mobile environment.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions using handheld instruments.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company vehicles and safety checks.
• Document work on RO using iOS devices and TRAIT app.
