Job summary

CoxFleet, a leading on-site mobile fleet maintenance provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Tulsa, OK. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile environment, while documenting RO findings on an iOS device.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience; ASE T8 certification within 18 months is preferred. You will work with a team to keep fleets safe and operational.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related discipline degrees welcomed.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• 3 years’ related field experience preferred; candidates with different combinations may qualify.
• Must possess hand tools necessary to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brakes, cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics and transmissions as assigned.
• Inspect, test and listen to equipment to identify malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain service truck and keep accurate service records and RO documentation.
