Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and repairs on a range of trucks in a mobile/field setting. You’ll diagnose, repair, and test systems, while managing parts and documenting work with company tools.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT Inspections, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and drive-train systems.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck supplies; document on RO using TRAIT app.
