Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading mobile maintenance provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform PMs, DOT inspections, and light-to-heavy repairs in a field/mobile setting. You will diagnose, adjust, and repair diesel systems, document work on RO and TRAIT app, and maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma/GED with 3 years’ related field experience or 5 years in related field, ASE T8 within 18 months, and valid CDL/DOT eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience or 5 years’ related field experience

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs in a mobile/field environment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, diesel systems and drivetrains
• Test and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation
• Maintain and inventory parts and company vehicle
• Complete DOT forms and repair orders accurately
• Follow safety policies and comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
