Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs on a range of trucks in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, document findings, and work under supervision as you advance advanced skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus related field experience preferred.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months or equivalent.
• DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Diagnose, test, and repair truck equipment and document findings on RO via TRAIT app.
