Job summary

CoxFleet in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose issues with handheld tools, road test vehicles, and document findings on Repair Orders using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED with 3 years in related field (or 5 years), own hand tools, ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, DOT pre-employment screening and physical, DOT card validity, 21+ years old,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 3 years in a related field, or 5 years of related experience.
• Own set of hand tools to perform required duties.
• AES T8 (PMI) certification must be obtained within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
• DOT medical card valid with >4 months remaining, or DOT physical will be required.
• 21+ years old due to interstate commerce regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.
• Class C driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
• Carry out minor adjustments/repairs on electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment; test and road test vehicles as needed.
• Document findings on RO using TRAIT app on an iOS device.
• Obtain parts from local and national vendors and communicate with management for approvals.
